Move & Make

A 6 week course designed to give new Mummies a morning each week to move & make!

Starting on Friday the 13th September 9.30 am - 12 pm you will enjoy fun and tailored training sessions with Stacey Harris and relaxed watercolour illustration lessons with Emma-Jayne Bourne.

The mornings will start with an hour of movement delivered by Stacey who is a ante and postnatal specialist and who’s aim is to make being active and achieving a healthy lifestyle easy, fun and sustainable. You will then have half an hour to chat, mingle and meet new friends and enjoy healthy homemade delights to re-charge.

Once refreshed Emma-Jayne will deliver a watercolour illustration session to create your little ones’ name throughout the 6 weeks. Perfect for beginners, you will be taught how to mix your colours, different techniques and ways to use the various mediums. These skills will then be put together to form your little ones’ name each letter at a time.

The course will be located in Little Eaton village church hall and if the weathers fine the PT session will take place on the park. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know. Access to the hall is suitable for prams and pushchairs.

Emma-Jayne Bourne

Now in my third year of running my creative business I have built up a community throughout the Derbyshire area delivering watercolour workshops alongside selling my own art work. Over the 6 week course I will teach you to feel comfortable using watercolour paints and not to be afraid to try and build on these new skills. My workshops are developed for beginners and to be an extremely relaxed environment to nurture you. Painting is a very relaxed and mindful experience which will be calming for you and your baby.

In a safe and private space, surrounded by like-minded women and your children welcome, it’s time to dedicate an hour to yourself and get moving. Over this 6 week course I will teach you how to reconnect with and engage your core; you will build strength, improve fitness and stamina and above all, regain confidence in your own body. As a specialist in postnatal fitness, it’s my aim to support and empower you and make sure you’re looking after your own health and wellbeing too!
