Join me, Emma-Jayne from Sweet Pea Designs at The Makers, Ashbourne introducing you to this 2.5 hr beginners watercolour illustration workshop.

You will learn how to combine new skills to create a watercolour illustration perfect as a Mother’s Day gift for you to enjoy together in this lovely setting.

Embrace this calm, relaxed workshop and leave the stress of your day behind you. Taking in the pleasures of watercolour painting on this inspiring workshop. There will also be a delicious slice of cake available and drink of your choice half way through before finishing your final creation.

At the end of the session you will leave with new skills you have learnt, how to mix watercolour paints and your very own designed watercolour illustration. You’ll be surrounded by vases of spring blooms and lots of inspiration.

The workshop will take place on Saturday 30th March, starting at 10 am and run through till 12.30 pm with a half hour break for tea and a piece of delicious cake. The Makers, Ashbourne is easy to access on Dig Street.

When entering Ashourne on the A515 if your traveling from Staffordshire, keep in the right hand lane traveling through the town. The road will fork off so stay in the right hand lane as though your driving back on yourself. Take a right and the car park is right opposite Ashbourne’s park.

If you are traveling from Derby you will enter Ashbourne off the Belper Road A517 and at the main traffic lights turn right towards the park/car park. The car park charges £3.30 for 3 hrs. If you don’t mind a little walk you can also park on the Mayfield Road past the large church for free. I have attached a map but if you have any questions please send me a message.
